In fashion, one day you are in, and "next" day you are out. It is a pharse that is ofter said by Heidi Klum, the hostess of the show" Project Runway. I'd like to know that is it ok to replace the word "next" with the word "one"~ That is, one day you are in, and one day you are out? Dose it make sense? Thank you! Smile

The original way is better. "one day you are in, and the next day you are out" shows you how quickly it can change, because the "next day" is right after the first day. "One day you are in and one day you are out" doesn't have the same idea because you don't know which day the second "one day" is.
