Dear teachers,

I am writing an article about teaching idioms. Could you please help me find out appropriate idioms:
What idiom can be used if I want to say: To have a feeling.

What idiom can be used if I want to say: to get good marks (is it "to pass the exam wih flying colours)
What idiom can be used if I want to say: To receive letters from parents
Which idiom can be used if I want to say: to get a scholarship

Which idioms can be used for (other words which can replcace): wedding customs, death anniversary customs, house-warming customs

Which idioms can be used: to go to the library; to go sightseeing; to visit the orphanage

Which idioms can be used: to launch their new products; to change marketing strategies; to penetrate into overseas markets�)

Which idioms can be used for phrases: Before exams; before an important meetings; before going on a business trip; before a presidential campaign�)
