I read "the catcher in the rye" recently. But I found one sentence that i didn't know what is mean.
the sentence is "For Chirssake" willya please cut your crumbly nails over the table?
I don't know the meaning of "Chirssake". would mind to you answer my question?

It means " Oh for Christ's sake" and it's an expression that some people don't like to use because of it's religious element. |
