| Our old imprints are very strong; guilt and shame arise as a reminder that it takes more than an act of will to escape notions of right and wrong. The process has to continue without deception. You can't fool your sense of being imperfect or sinful - choose your terms - in the hope that the slate can be wiped clean once and for all. |
1. What does that in the quote mean? - guilt and shame? or a reminder? or something else? Please let me know.
2. What does terms in the above mean? - expression? or words? or conditions? or costs? or something else? Please let me know.
Thanks. |
