I would like to know what "the long word" means?
This phrase was used in the article of CNN Student News on April 6.

Actually, I don't know of any special meaning for "the long word is the bad one." "Warning" has 2 syllables, and "watch" only has one, so "warning" is the longer word. I could only think that it was a way to remember which word was for the more dangerous situation. Perhaps someone else will have a better idea.

Maybe the word you are hearing is not "long", but "wrong".
