The following is my question:

Choose the CORRECT answer.
(A) He has so a nice wife.
(B) David showed me the way to Buckingham Palace.
(C) Gasoline is sold by a gallon.
(D) What an useful book you gave me!

The answer given is (A), but in my opinion, the correct one should be (B). Could someone help me with this question? Thanks a lot.

You have to find which sentence has no errors, right?

Let's take a look at each one, starting at the end.

(D) is not right, because the correct indefinite article in this case is "a", not "an."

(C) is not right, because the correct article is the definite article: "sold by the gallon."

(B) - I don't see any mistakes here.

(A) - "so" is unnecessary here, and the sentence should be "He has a nice wife."

So, yes, it appears that there is an error in the answer key, and the correct answer should be (B).
