Dear teachers:

I was confused when I read a book HOW TO WIN FRIENDS and INFLUENT OTHERS.
In page 1, the writer said that'' Stop frequently in your reading to think over what you are reading. Ask yourself just how and when you can apply each suggestion."
But in the later page, the writer said" As you read, stop frequently to ask yourself how you can apply each suggestion."
I have no idea what the writer mean. Should we ask ourselves how we can apply each suggest?!

Best wishes,
YiPeng Hsu

Hi,

The author is just saying that as you read, you should think about how to do some of the things the author mentions in the book. How can you use the information in your life? How can the author's ideas help you?

Hope this helps!
