Hi,
I'm wondering if the following sentences are acceptable?
If both are correct, what's the difference? Thanks in advance.
(a) I wish I were taller and could play basketball better than Jason.
(b) I wish I were taller and would play basketball better than Jason. |

Only A is OK.
You can't use wish and would for yourself, only when you wish someone else would do something.
Hope helps,
