Please read this sentence:
A bunch of flowers was on the doorstep.
When the sentence is re-written as:
On the doorstep was a bunch of flowers.
I wonder which part is the most important information that the auther would like to stress. Is it "on the doorstep" or "a bunch of flowers"?
Thanks for responding to the question. |

With "On the doorstep was a bunch of flowers" it is like the "bunch of flowers" is being saved as a surprise at the end.
Best wishes,
