[2] Not all foods have the same nutrients.


From above, Do [1] and [2] have the same meaning?

[2] means that some foods have the same nutrients, but not all foods do.

[1] reads like someone trying to say the same thing, but writing in an unnatural way.

If you begin "All foods..." you should be making a statement which applies to all foods. So, taken literally, [1] says that all foods have different nutrients.

But most native speakers would understand that you were trying to say what [2] says clearly.
