They both mean very attractive. Perhaps stunning is a bit stronger.
Gorgeous can be used for men and women these days. Stunning still sounds more normal with women.

Stunning- causing, capable of causing, or liable to cause astonishment, bewilderment, or a loss of consciousness or strength.
Gorgeous- splendid or sumptuous in appearance
Which one is better? I'll leave that up to you.
