HI~Dear All:
When I learn English by "BBC - Learning English", I saw that it use "as cool as a cucumber" to describe the people who is calm when facing the surprise. I think it is really cute.
Can any teacher tell me why it is cucumber but not watermelon? Does it has any other special means?
Thank you very much |

Nothing special. I think it just sounds nice because both words begin with c.
Best wishes,
