Dear teachers,
Would you please tell me if the following tenses or expressions are correct?
1) I’ll get annoyed if you keep asking me every time you have a problem.
= I'd rather you stopped asking me every time you have a problem than... (?)
2) Had I been young / younger I wouldn’t have married him.
3) a) They wished he would / could come skiing with them, but he hadn't / hasn’t recovered from the operation.
b) They wished he had recovered / would have recovered from the operation so that he could / can [incorrect?] come skiing with them.
4) The match is not finished yet / has not finished yet.
5) She wishes she would have come / had come to the party last night.
6) May I use your phone? =
a) Do you mind if I use your phone?
b) Would you mind me / my using your phone? [incorrect?]
7) It has been a long time since I went / have been to a concert. [what's the difference?]
It’s a long time since I saw you / didn’t see [incorrect?] you.
9) It was / had been a long time since I had seen you.
