It's a challenge of man against nature.
in this sentence, can "of" be replaced by "for" or "about"?
Thanks! |

Hi There!
The meaning will change if you replace on with the other. For example:
1. It's a challenge of man against nature. - This gives emphasis to what type of challenge it is.
2. It's a challenge for man against nature. - The sentence sounds kind of awkward but it basically means that the challenge is directed the "man" and his opponent is "nature".
See the difference? Please let me know if this helps! |
