Hi teachers!
You are always helpful to me!
Please give me a piece of advice again.
When I was reading a short novel, I met a word of which I couldn’t understand the meaning, again.
What is “mileage game”?
In the novel, flight's canceled for weather, and “more delays, in combination with some mileage game he was playing, meant that he was now going to arrive on the same flight as he had originally planned, ”
I have no idea what kind of game it is.
Could you tell me?

I don't think it is a real game as such. It is just the way he planned his journey to achieve a minimum or maximum amount of travel in order to get to his destination |

Maybe he was trying to figure out a way to get more mileage for free airline miles too. |
