Will you please tell me what the underlined parts below mean?
The Red Cross'"trade secret" argument has persuaded the state to redact some material, though it's not clear yet how much since the documents have't yet been released. |

The verb 'to redact' means to censor or obscure part of a text for legal or security reasons. So it is a variety of editing.
Knowing this makes the second part clearer - you don't know how much has been 'cut' yet as the documents have not been released so you haven't seen them. |
