My father is very strict. He dosen't smile well. When I go to school, he always shouts," Hey! come back home early! Don't drink at all!!!OK???"
And he doesn't like me to watch TV drama. He thinks that watching TV drama isn't helpful at all. But I like most watching TV drama and I like to drink very much. So I often quarrel with my strict father.

I don't think your father knows a lot about children and their psychology. I remember that when I was younger my mother would never allow me to watch movies where there's sex. Whenever someone would kiss, she would tell me to close my eyes or to go to my room. So I rebelled by watching many adult movies about sex... Many parents don't realize that by being strict to their children, they actually make it worse for them. My advice--use your own judgment. Drink if you like it, but make sure you don't become an alcoholic. Watch drama if you like it. But please, don't shoot other people only coz your dad prohibits you to! Ignore your dad, keep telling him "ok dad" and "sure dad" and do what you want to but use common sense! Don't do stupid things only to rebel against your father!

he will always think right for you

When I was a young gile my father allways said me " Your looking is not good. So you should be chirful! Smil-face helps you good." It is totally true, I think. But in fact I lost my confidence. Now I have children. I've never said such things. Because I think they have to self-esteem. it is very improtant to live.

In my opinion he tries to protect you from a bad influence of this world. Unfortunately he chose the worst way to do it. Try to prove him that you are a responsible, young person, who knows how to avoid unnecessary risk. However it is very possible that you never satisfy him. I was the best student in my high school, yet my mother's greatest worry was... my marks.
My friend's mother had an extremely strict father (he used to say that television was Satan's invention...). When she wanted to go outside she had to escape through a window Shocked Now she is an alcoholic Exclamation
