What does 'mythic resonance' mean in the context below.

In Texas, a state where land ownership has an almost mythic resonance, opposition to a wall bordering Mexico could delay construction for years.

It means that the concept of land ownership is so important to Texans, that it sounds almost mythical (or spiritual, legendary).

"resonate" is what sound does when it bounces, kind of like tiny echos. Sound resonates inside a guitar.
