Moved to usa 7 years ago my english understanding capabilities is same of 5 or 6 years old that means most of the words i dont understand and just ASSUME the meaning.

I still can figure when to use i owe you or you owe me
all this time i thought ignorant is a term used for people who ignore people

I never thought about the relationship between "ignore" and "ignorant". Maybe someone who is ignorant ignores information Very Happy.

As for "owe," if you borrow money from someone and intend to pay them back, you owe them the amount. If they borrow from you and intend to pay you back, they owe you. The same kind of language is often used if someone does you a favor, for example. A common response is "Thanks, I owe you one."
