hi,
i'm a non-native englishspeaker currently travelling in asia. and i am considering to do a course in teaching english as a foreign language.
but there are soo many. iv'e just spent two hours online browsing a bunch of glossy sites and my head is just spinning. tefl, toefl, celta, eccthai, boland and whatnot. is the any difference in what they acctually teach? and is any of the certificates more valid/widely accepted that any of the others? what do their students (really) think of them?
also, it seems that most of the schools charge somewhere in the area of 1500 usd for about 20 - 25 days of study. is this like a standard or are there any cheaper schools in asia?
my purpouse is of course to be able to work with teaching english in asia (so i can stay here longer).
