Edward Said has determined his way of life mainly when he was child, he struggled, made efforts and worked intentionally. Later on, he became one of the most renowned intellectuals in the world.
He was author of 16 books, which included the most important and influential book that is titled Orientalism, and most of his books were translated into 26 languages. Moreover, he concentrated in his writings on Middle East political issues, he also suggested cultural methods to solve these issues.
Orientalism, the work of art that Said left behind for the world to analyze and understand, was one of his best and successful books which made revolution in the studies of Orientalism, especially that this branch of studies was not popular compared to the other studies.
The most interesting part in Edward Saids personality was his human side. He searched for the common denominator between different people of various origins that is humanity, and he treated them respectably according to it, regardless of their ethnic origin. For instance, being a Palestinian did not prevent him from criticizing and exposing their faults.
Some say, that all the writers and artists always spring from poor families, supposing that poverty motivates them to work hard and get high. Although, in this case, Edward Said did not have any problem concerning finance, but on the contrary, his family was a medium-rich family. In fact, Edward Said was affected by political or national problems, in his case, the exile he faced when he was child.
The dimness, controversy and obscurity of everything related to Palestine appeared clearly while we were looking for material. We found a lot of articles which try to deface the image of Edward Said, his views and to try to show them as malicious ones.
Finally, and before my pen runs out of ink, though still my mind full of words, I can admit that our world has lost a genius after the death of Edward Said. I wish that everybody of us follow his footsteps.

Actually, this is the conclusion of my project about the intellectual "Edward Said". This is my first project in English. I'd appreciate any comments on it Smile
