First, welcome you to teach english in china!
I live in northern china.
When you will come to china, tell me please.
my suggestion: start your visit in beijing and find a job in other citys,
if you need more information ,please tell me.
we could discuss it in detail, and i am glad to be your guide. _________________ ANYTIME, ANYWHERE, CALL ME, AND I WILL BE THERE. ^_^ |

Hi there Kepler
I have a friend who has been living and working in Beijing for a while. He's set up a couple of useful websites -
one about living in Beijing: http://www.chinese-forums.com/bj/index.html (no longer updated, but fairly recent - 2003)
one about studying Mandarin: http://www.chinese-forums.com/
one about teaching in China: http://www.china-teachers.com/index.php
The Lonely Planet guide and website are also pretty helpful.
These might be good places to start anyway!
I spent 6 months teaching in China in 2002 and really enjoyed it. The only thing I really didn't like was the pollution but the people and their generosity, curiosity more than made up for it!
Good luck! |
