1. How do you differenciate holiday and festival? For example, New Year, what does it belong?
2. Do you say 12 constellation? What is your constellation? I believe in constellation. ARe they correct?

1. New Year belongs to holidays, it comes on the same date.
Festivals are celebrated on the same days of the week, I think.
2. I love holoscopes. I check them everyday on TV.

In American English holidays are official regular occurances like Christmas, New Years, Easter, etc. A festival is more of a party and can be created for any occaison. For example, we have an arts festival every year. its not a government holiday. Its just party.
In Britain, festival may have other meanings. I'm not sure.
You can say open/close the piano lid or top. I used to be in the piano business. Lucia e un nome Italiana. E Italiana forse?
