Hi everyone! I'm from Japan, and studying English in university. I'm going to go to Halifax, Canada for studying English and sightseeing. I looked it up by the Internet, but I also want to ask people directly. Does anyone have some information about Halifax and Canada?
Thank you for reading. Sayonara~~

Hello!
As a Canadian citizen (from the province of Quebec) I can say that you will thoroughly enjoy your stay in the maritimes. Although I've never been there, many of my friends have and they've all said that it was the prettiest place that they've ever seen.
In Halifax (if I remember what you said correctly) you will be pretty close to the Atlantic Ocean, and the vegetation will be pretty lush!
Enjoy your stay! _________________ Hi! My name is Megan and I am a 15 year old girl from Montreal, Quebec. If you want to perfect your english or french, feel free to correspond with me!

Hi CanadianMeg,
Thank you for answering. I love to swim, so if I have a chance, I'd like to swim in the ocean. Like you said, Halifax seems to be full of nature. I can't wait to go there! I'll stay with a family in Halifax, so I'm thinking what Japanese cultures are interesting for people from other countries, and what kind of souvenirs I should take.
Anyway, thank you very much.

I live in Halifax, its quite a town. This time of year there is a lot going on downtown on the waterfront. In particualr, the international "Buskers" (street performers / comedians etc) festival will soon be going on. |

hello ayumingo85,
Traveling is very nice experience, isn't it? I also went to Canada in this summer vacation and could have nice memories. Did you stay with a family there? I did for about 5 weeks. Wow, you went to Sweden! What's the country like? Did you like the weather, food, cultures, and so on? I'm going to go to Australia for studying English this winter. I really look forward to going there! I also want to visit many countries if I have enough money.
hello everyone,
I enjoyed this trip very much. I could see many Buskers(street performers), I went to Peggy's Cove, I could learn not only English but also cultures. Also, I learned that Nova Scotia is famous for wild blueberries and Titanic. I liked this place very much, so I want to go back there someday.
ok, thank you for reading. bye! |
