Which sounds more natural, "I like her all the more for her kindness." or "I like her all the better for her kindness."? |

Hi Yoshiyuki,
To me, the first one is completely natural. |

Hi,
To me the first sounds the more natural.
But I think the two are dictinctions without a difference. |

Listen with your ear. In this case I agree with "all the more."
Now, if I were to say, "I like her all the better for her beauty." I like the use of "better" for its poetic value. |
