Hi Finzha,
I'm an Italian girl and I want to tell you that it's really hard that Italian people are shy. It depend on where you were, but you mustn't mix the shy with the coldness because for example usually people that live in the north of Italy are colder than people that live in the south, because they have really different lifestyle.

Hello everybody,
I'm Italian, and my name is Marika!
I also think that Italian people aren't shy, it depends on a person nature.
Probably some Italians are colder than others but we don't have to do a general thing of this.
I'm from North Italy, I live at 80 km from Venice and during the school time a live down there, this winter I knew a boy from Mexico, he said I was different from the Venetian because I'm not cold...probably this is my nature, I like to know new people, from everywhere. |

hi people. I'm russian, but I live in Italy from 1996. Russian people are really shy at the beginning, and you can feel the coldness. but here? in Italy? I remember that when I came in Italy, I couldn't say anything, because I didn't know very well the language, and because I was shy. but when I met my new classmates, even if I didn't reply, they used to talk with me in the same way that they used to talk with other italian children.
and now is the same: when I meet someone, it doesn't matter if he doesn't know me very well, but he calls me and writes me, and talks with me...that's a great thing!!! here you can really meet a lot of people and make a lot of friens! I love Italy for this. in fact now I'm not so shy as I was in the past. _________________ peace and love |
