hello ,everybody!
I am new here. I like movies.Several days ago,I went to the cinema for "the day after tomorrow"! As a whole, it is a good film.Striking disasters, spectacular sceneries etc.,all of these attracted me.But it has some shortages, too. All things happened too abruptly and we have no any prevision and preparations. In now days ,science has developed so advance,it is too incredible.

For me it was just a panic movie. (Sorry, I don't want to hurt you Crying or Very sad )
To tell the truth, I couldn't catch up with the story of 'DAT'. Embarassed
It was so fast, and everything happens so suddenly. I am not good at scence, that made the movie more difficult for me. Shocked
The environment was terrible. But I understood that I must take trains instead of cars for the Earth! Rolling Eyes

Very Happy long time no visit here........

no wonder this movie is good !I like it so much, and it makes me
realize our injured earth Sad
when nature drived us up to a wall, our lives were hanging in the hair,
what could we do ??we couldn't do anything, just wait,wait....wait balefulness going..well , that is a film, not truth, and director is able to make a happy ending, but nature is impartial not a kind director!
we need to know loving our earth ,and not only loving our jobs!
we do need remember the film doesn't tell us a story, but tell us a truth ...nobody can see this film in cold blood,'cause we all live in the one earth!!!!!!!!

I'm sorry hearing somebody say somthing is incredible.nothing is incredible. It is people who supposed things are not so serious made things worse.
all movies about disasters are telling one thing- what happening in movies might happen in our ture life.we should get alert,as you say, there is only one earth!

hi,how are you.I have seen the movie twice.have you?I think the story is not so bad.The best part that i like is that when there are the three scientists try to cheer themselves up by drinking. The first one said "For england".Then the second one said "For mankind" and then, the last one said'for manchester united" Then suddenly everyone in the cinema laught....ahucks~~

I wanted to see this movie, yet it seems to be quite depressing... This world is so sad that I'm not sure if I desire to see such a terrible end of it.

Avobe all, I'm sorry to say that The movie "The day after tomorrow"
is some boring.
When I've watched the preview of the film. I was so excited.
I've thought it was very interesting. and The director of the film is the same person of the movie " The Indenfense day"(A few years ago I was shocked after watching it. The special effects make me crazy.)
but After finishing the movie "The day after tomorrow" I was disappointed of poor story.
Undoubtedly, the special effects and computer graphics are so cool, but story is simple and so boring. Rolling Eyes

To me, the DAT is a too old film to remember , as one of filmss of 007 series film ,it is not good and not bad , a nomal action film ,
handsome man and beautiful woman strike with the bad guy ,in the and our hero wins the game .the story is so similar that almost at the first glance ,you will find the last result .but pepole need it ,for peple love it ,as well as the love story , it has been repeated millions times
in millions shape , but it still and will be the eternal classic.

I think so! tzsgm123
What kind of movies do you like?
Do you like movies about catastrophe in earth like Deep impact, Armageddon .
I watched both.
If you are interested in Special Effects and Computer Graphics
I recommend Armageddon.
If you think highly of story or contents of the movie.
I recommend Deep impact strongly. Wink
