They can suggest all they like, but either is correct. One of the meanings of adult is mature. |

so you would be fair, wise, or logical about the problem. mature can mean ripe as well as full grown, where adult means responsible as well as a reaching the age for full citizenship.
adult may be the better word, but the difference is little, and either word would be understood in normal conversation.
they do not want you to be emotional or naive about the problem in that sentence. that is the best i can think of. _________________ coffeedecafe |
