dunno what you want to know. Toefl is basically a test for students whose first language isn't English. As far as I know, you must take the test if you are a transfer student (going to a US college) from a non english speaking country.
You can take Toefl on the computer (CBT) or the traditional way with paper and pencil (PBT). Depending on where you want to take the test, you might only have one choice (either CBT or PBT). I know that most test centers in the US are CBT only because that's the new method they want to use. Oh yeah the scoring is different too. CBT is out of 300 while PBT is out of 600 something. |
