I'm an Englishman. I've spent a lot of time over this summer and last summer joining tours for students which go to many parts of Britain and the countries near it (France, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, Ireland). I took photos of all the places I went and put them in this part of my website:

Even though I have lived in the UK all of my life, I didn't know about all of the lovely places I have seen! I suppose it is common to think about going abroad for holidays, and to ignore the places which are around you. My favourite places were the far north of Scotland, Wales, the Antrim coast in Northern Ireland and Cornwall in south-west England - I like rocky coastal areas, because they are so dramatic.
If you have a look at the pictures, tell me what you think - which places look most attractive to you?
Also - do people in your country ignore the nice places around you because they want to go abroad to see somewhere "different"? _________________ UK Student Life: http://www.ukstudentlife.com
