Could you check if there is any mistakes in grammar and usage?
1. The Principal diverted our tuition into his personal accounts. He was caught when he tried to use the money to finance his family pilgrimage to Mecca.
2. Owing to the commander's diversion, we averted a total defeat.
3. Beginning in September, the University will revert to the semester system.
Thanks.

They are all correct!
A minor note on #1: I'm not positive whether or not 'Principal' needs to be capitalized. Probably capitalized is correct.
A slightly more important note on #1: I would probably have written "... his family's pilgrimage..." It works fine either way, though - just a matter of personal preference.
Very nice, BMO! |
