Why I want to learn English. Smile Because English is popular in the world. Everybody needs to learn English. When Iwas young, I already started to learn English . So after a long time I liked to learn English. And my father also wants me to learn English, because he doesn`t know about English. So he doesn`t want me to be like that . Embarassed After I tell myself I must study hard. If my English is very good , it will make him proud of me . I know he will be very happy. Laughing

"Why do I want to learn English?" This is a good question! I couldn't answer this question before but I can answer it easily now. To be honest, I am not that kind of hard-working person who will pursue further education in the free time. I stopped learning English for a long time after college since I guess I would not engage in careers that good English ability is necessary. Then my current job has proved this wrong! Now I have to read English documents (related to hi-tech fields) very often and sometimes have to do the translation on my job. Therefore, I really regret that I didn't spend enough time on reading English textbooks in college life. In order to compensate for this insufficiency, now I have to go to English cram schools and spend much time on English grammar references, while my colleagues are handling their jobs easier than I do since they have better English abilities. Now I really know what "To provide for a raniy day" means!
