dear friends
the essence of democracy and freedom is that we can disagree but westill respect eachother.in some topics we saw a wide gap between opinions and sometimes we saw signs of immoral disrespect .so i just want to say that i merely disagree with some opinions but i respect people who say these opinions .i hope i was clear.

Hi emilio,
I think that we need much more than just respect other's point of view, we need to cultivate high moral standards. I think we should start with children, educating them to love all humankind, with no difference for their belief, sex, racial background, etc... Of course you can't teach someone what you for first don't know! I think it's easy to say I respect other people if you live in a place where all the people you know are so similar to you! That's just a reflection i wanted to share with you all!

i am glad to give a kind of mental depth to the topic .with the great respect to your opinion,i think we must teach our childern to think freely , some guide lines will be very helpful.
we should give them the chance to be self-directed to discover the facts by themselves not by make them watch CNN.
thanks a lot for these real valuable posts.
