Hi,
I have Win xp sp2 running on my pc. I also have Norton antivirus 2004 professional!
But still this virus which shows itself as 'kimochi.exe' loads everytime I start my computer. It tries to send and recieve huge amounts of data (I dont know what) hence blocking my bandwith and making my broad band connection as creepy as a bad phone line connection.
The attempt to search for 'kimochi' and 'kimochi.exe' on Norton's or Symantec's database, turned me down with ZERO results!!!!!
Anybody knowing about this virus and how to remove it, please reply! _________________ Gagan |

i know what i will say is for some extent difficult
you can unplug the hard disk and scan it(as a slave hard) in any other PC on which a good updated antivirus is installed. |

Kimochi is not a virus. It probably is a spyware or adware that was installed on you harddrive when youn visited some adult sites. Atleast the information that I have indicates so. Simply install a firewall and block kimochi.exe from accessing the net. Norton Antivirus won't help much. Install Norton personal Firewall or some free firewall. Or better still use Linux _________________ The difference between insanity and genius is measured by success |

Talking about Spyware, I would like to introduce you the best spyware remover - Microsoft Antispyware. I've been using this for years and I think that it's the best. Just go to Microsoft.com and search for it, your problems will be fix. Trust me, I understand your situation. |
