I like to show my gratitude (to, for) you. Which is correct?
like to show my respect (to, for) you. Ditto?
I have a request (to, for) you.
It is to your advantage and it is for your own good - these are correct, right?

I would like to show my gratitude to and respect for you. (Correct?)

This is stylistically incorrect. Its awkward.
Try: "I would like to show my gratitude, as well as, my respect for you."

Thanks. But then you don't have "to" after gratitude. Is it okay to say, "I would like to show you my gratitude and respect for you?"

"my gratitude" can be used without the additional prepositional phrase, "to you" (it is implied) . It is simpler and more stylistically correct to say it as in the former example which I gave.

I (would) like to show my gratitude to you.
I (would) like to show my respect for you.
I have a request for you.
It is to your advantage and (it is) for your own good. Correct
I would like to show my gratitude to, and respect for you.
Is grammatically correct.
