Dear Naren, don't be afraid of speaking English, just do it! I think people won't laugh at you just because you speak incorrect English. Since we are not English-native speakers, others won't feel strange if we couldn't speak fluent English. Will you laugh at a foreigner who can't speak fluent Chinese but tries to communicate with you? I don't think you will. This reminds me of something. When students are too shy or afraid to speak, my English teacher, Alison, always says, "Don't worry about it, your English is better than my Chinese!" What she says really gives us more confidence in speaking English although we are not good speakers. Practice makes perfect. I hope that you could conqer your fear of speaking in the near future.

Let go of your fears.

Let the English flow.

Two really powerful things that can help....

1)Listen
2)Talk

That is it...practice...practice...practice.

I have many students like you...they have overcome their fears.

You can too.
