As someone mentioned, there are valentine and black day in Korean. But there is a lot more than tat. For example there is pockey(long chocolate bread mixture snack) day in november 11. boys and girls give each other that snack. And there is plenty more like kiss day, rose day, hug day, yellow day, and white day. I like kiss day the best *-_-* but now i live in thailand... i will go back to Korea next year =_=

hi, mkg
I'm korean.
the balck day is for people who are not couple.
they are supposed to eat black noodle* on the day.

It's like.. we are depressed of not having girl or boy friend.
so we eat depressing food.(you know, black reminds us of dark, depressing)

that's all. some follows the rule, and others ignore.

*black noodle : I don't know what to name it. It's known as chinese food. Noodles covered with black sauce. the Black day comes from it Smile

I guess the northern people might not share it.
