terror-ism

This 9/11 stuff really never effected me, until recently. I've been thinking about it more and more and I've decided I'd like to here other peoples views on the issues.

It feels like most people are skimming the surface of the issues.
This is scary stuff shouldn't we want to go deeper? Really we are quoting what is happening recycling the data but are we processing it fully?

I think its all about fear which of course means we are fighting the wrong kind of war
This brings me to two questions what is the root of fear? Why do wage war; in other words what are the psychological reasons for war?

I find a lot of Im better than you or my views are better mentalities floating around discussion of the issues of our time but isn't this a key reason for many of our problems?
Ive also been wondering about how miscommunication relates to this? Ive noticed that even with all the media and Internet and phones etc. that people dont really seem to communicate any better what does it really take to understand another human being and is this a plausible solution to many of our problems; war, terror, killing and so forth. I think killing in specific if analyzed offers very interesting insights into the human psyche.like how do you get to the point were you would kill another person? The military trains you, teaches you to do it.

What is wrong and what is right?

The American dream is supposed to be about freedom but most Americans barely know anything about their own constitution, and very few people agree on what freedom is. Many Americans might say they are free but few among them can give more than a superficial definition of freedom.

This brings me to the all important question of why did all this begin, really?
All this war,
all this violence, and hate, discrimination and judgmental attitudes, and lies, propaganda
all the hope and dreams for something better and the ignorance?
And I mean the very beginning?
People argue ideology and politics and religion but there must be a way to solve THE PROBLEM, right?
So what Im presenting you with here is an opportunity to take a step to solve the problem.

Ask yourself, how you relate to this all? Do you have violent tendencies in you Somewhere? Do you hate? Do love your own people more than other people? How is one group of people more yours than another? What does it mean to be free?

(and remember stick to the psychological)
PS: many of the news and opinions in this thread are not my own.

I don't get it what is Real? What is Freedom? What is
