Hi Jnow, how exciting to have a friend in China. You asked about the official language of the US--- well there is none! However, the unofficial language is English. You are probably familure with our upcoming elections-- many of the ballots are printed in numerous languages-- to help the immigrant populations understand and be able to take part in the voting process.

In other news...this weather is currently rainy, but the fall leaves are so strikingly beautiful....what a magnificent sight
.

Today for breakfast I had a cup of coffee with half and half (cream and milk mixed) and a few bites of crispy cinnamon cereal. Fridays are my down day...after a busy week of school, I take Friday off to relax and spend time with my family. I also, catch up on my house duties...sounds boring I know, but it must be done. I hope I'm not overwhelming you with too much writing and that you can understand me.

I must tell you I had a Pen Pal when i was 12 years old and we visited each other's families when we were 18. Now we are much older, and married with children, but we still continue to write. So, who knows where this keypal relationship will take us-- time will tell.

Have a wonderful day!!!!

Jan Very Happy
