Hello.
I heard it on a TV program.
The character was talking when
he said "Boys in the band"
I know this doesn't help too much.
But that's all I remember.

What kind of TV Program was it?
The phrase "Me and the boys in the band" could have been the way it was used and in this case it would mean "Myself and the other members of the band".
If it was a music program perhaps that was what it was referring to. |

Hi.
Thank you for fast reply^_^;
I was watching a parody program.
It would be hard to describe.
The program had music from the 80s.
Hope this helps.
Cheers!

Was the phrase used in a song or was it spoken only?
And what kind of person was saying it?
A parody program. Well do you know the name of the program?
I'm asking all these questions because I want to give you the best answer I can to your question. |

The character that said "Boys in the Band"was Ouji Mekido. His English name was Nigel.
It happened during the first 2 episodes.
Please remember the dialogue was
dubbed with funny words.Hence,no
direct translation.Hope this helps. _________________ Friends are like treasure. They are valuable. |

|
|
After researching Dynaman and doing a search on "Nigel" I found out that the actor who played Nigel Cochrane is "Peter Alves" and going on the memorable quotes from the 1988 program and from your original question I have been able to find out that in the case of this program it refers to him talking about "Himself and the other members of the band (who were all male as the word "boys is used when referring to the male gender)"
I hope that this clears up everything for you. |

No problem, Robopup!! I work as an Assistant Language Teacher in Japan and have to do the same kind of explaining of certain english phrases for the teachers I work with so your question was not too hard for me to answer. |
