good news, lumila (shouldn't it be Ludmila?)
since you now live in the us and have everyday contact with international (presumably english speaking ) young people, you don't really need any help. The language competency will come sooner that you expect.
Sing a lot of songs, is my advice - it's a sure and easy way to learn

I have a website at ; www.friends-in-english.org.uk

There is a mailing list at http://uk.groups.yahoo.com/group/friends-in-english/

this is very good for making new friends. You send one email to the group and everyone receives it.
Please come and join us.

You will enjoy making new friends here...and the English help and practice are excellent!!

Maybe it will help you to see that English isn't really crazy!!

Best Wishes

Ruth
