I am an Australian currently an Assistant Language Teacher working at a Junior High School in Ojiya(Yes, the centre of the recent earthquake!) Niigaya Prefecture in Japan. I would like to find out from as many people as possible what he/she finds difficult about learning english as I would like to discuss them. I would like this information so that I could improve my teaching skills as well as help to address concerns people may have as learners of English.

I welcome everybody's contribution from every country!!!!! Please be sure to also tell me how you feel about learning english.

Thanks,

Tonester

Actually, you should do a lot of serveys among your students, see which field they are interested in. And you need to know how much English do they speak. Then, you gather the imformation to find out the results so that you can design your teaching plan. (Anyway, it takes a lot of time.) And be sure to teach students something simple and practicle so that they can practice after school. And repetition drills are important. They do help a lot. You don't need to rush in. Just slow down. When students are making progress, then move on![/b]
