Hi. I am doing an essay for college entrance on the situation with religious laws in France. I am doing research on how people feel about the laws, such as no religious jewelry or clothing, etc, but I need some French people's views. Anyone care to share? I would also appreciate an explanation on the laws in general if you don't mind, because I want to be fair in forming an opinion. I am American, by the way. I plan to major in French and international studies in college.

You might get a biassed view since it will primarily represent the opinions of English-speaking French. You might get a fairer asessment if you post the question in French in a French language forum. One option is the following:
