On the Tet ( New year) of lunar calendar , lots of people have to go shopping , they are going to buy a lot of food , vegetables, candy... Furthermore, many people are living in oversea come back Viet Nam and joint with their family... Dragan dance is going to bring for you many things lucky .
On the Tet , adult/elderly people have to put a little money in red pack and give to childrend....

It is called "bun ". I think it is easier to taste it than "pho'. This is a kind
of folk food. We can say "bun" is the food of the poor, and " pho" is the
one of the rich. This is not absolutely true now in Vietnam, but maybe this
existed in the past. Usually, "bun" is more cheaper than " pho" _________________ ndh |

You've been to Vietnam?
Do you know how the Vietnamese celebrate the New Year?
I will have a Tet holiday of 10 days beginning next week. And my family
are going to prepare a luxurious Tet
I will tell you about that
But , why don't you come to Vietnam and spend tet holiday with
Vietnamese people _________________ ndh |

Hi, I'm a Vietnamese too, and I agree to all of your ideas about our culture
I'm living in America but when I eat Vietnamese food here, it doen't give me any feeling as same as the food I had eaten while I was there.
If you want to eat the real "bun" or "pho" you have to travel to Vietnam, however, you need to becareful too. Many places are pretty good, also many are not as the way it suppost to be.
Thanks for your topic, Hai. |
