Yesterday, I read a story for children.
In the book, I saw this sentence ' In a woods lived three little pigs.'
Is this right sentence?
From now on I thought 'In a woods, three little pigs lived' is the right.

Yes, the sentence is correct. It is a more poetic, interesting way to phrase it for reading enjoyment. In conversation, it would likely be stated as you suggest, or as "Three little pigs lived in a woods." |
