Hey all,

Few days ago, a member asked me: "Tell me how to like to learn English". I think this should be a nice discussion.

So, do you like learning English or are you forced to learn it (for your parents' requirement, for job, ... etc)?

If you like it, why? Because you like languages in general or just English?

Let me have a think.
I think I love English just because I want to get imformations in time.
I dislike reading translated books and seeing movies with Chinese subtitles.

Hey,
I really, really like english because first of all I like the pronunciation. I think it's great to listen to real english or american people. As I am from Germany it's such a big difference to listen to a german one or to listen to a person who grew up in America or whatever. It simply sounds really great. I am impressed and I envy people who are able to speak in that kind of way.
Another reason why I like english is its style. I am reading many books, e.g. Harry Potter, and I'm ever again impressed of certain words like "giggle", for instance. �Just by hearing or reading it you are given an imagination of the word's meaning. You don't have to ask yourself what the word could mean. Sometimes, I think, it is quite obvious.
In brief, I am totally fascinated by that language. I like it,I like it. You as well?

english is a very scientific language.
Besides, it changes all the time.
If u want to learn it, u'd better go to street and talk to one of american.

[color=blue]hellow all, this is the first shariring to me in this forum. i am one of the persons that like english so much since my childhood and i was aleays take excelent degrees in the subject of english. an as a result i sudied english literature in the university and gaind a good degree in this field.

Basically , I like English but the truth is I love English . English is a simple language where anyone can learn it and master it even within few months perhaps weeks ! It has the potential to become the language of universe and I believe that it will achieve such position in future where we can find English speakers whole over the world and most probably we will not need translators anymore......We cannot deny that English language is forced to be learned in a way in most countries where English is not their primary or native language but how many among us know that the largest number of English speakers in the whole world is in India. It is a country colonised by British and having Hindi as its primary language. So think about it ..........

I knew nothing about English when I began to learn it.It's one of my courses.

But as time goes by,I find I fall in love with it.The songs sung in it,the novels and poems written in it,the movies shot in it�etc are so beautiful.

I think all the language is beautifull if you have an in-depth study in it.
