New year is comming!!
I want to know how you celebrate new year!!
In Japan, I think new year is the most important time.
Many Japanese go back to their home town and spend time with family in new year time.
We make new year food before the new year comes.
It is called Osechi which is like a big Lunch box fulled with good food.
Japanese go to shrine or temple on the first day of new year.
How do you celebrate new year in you country? Any special food??
Please tell me!!

Happy New Year
Yes, it is an interesting question. In Spain, we used to give the wellcome to the New Year eating 12 grapes of the luck. Each one for each 12 month of the Year. All TV channel ( private and public) broadcastes the last 5 minutes in front of a big clock tower in the citycenter of Madrid althouth the last time has been show up other substitute clock throughout others cities. It has become so popular which it is imposible to think of to celebrate an New year with this. After that as many others countries are proposed many toast. It has become to be a tradition to wear in that moment a red clothes as well as to give the first pace with its right foot. _________________ I could dance with you till the cows come home...On second thought, I'd rather dance with the cows when you came home |
