Is there anything grammatically wrong with the sentences below?

Thanks

The idea of going there thrills me, however, the fact that I'm going with 7 fellow schoolmates de-thrills me as a reminder of where I from.

Start a new sentence with However.

de-thrills - This is not a real word. You obviouisly know that from the way you wote it. It works very well, though, and is a good example of how we might communicate such an idea in casual speech. Nice!

as a reminder of where I from - Even for casual communication, you need where I'm from. Thr rest is probably OK for this purpose. For more formal communication, I would change it to: as it's a reminder of where I'm from.
