Despite Al-Queda's threats, they failed to keep the Iraqi MAJORITY from voting on Sunday's election. The have now vowed "holy war" against the majority of the Iraqi people. Al-Queda claims that free elections are against Islam and against God because only God should rule - not the people. According to news reports:

Yes, Germany, Russia, and France (the three countries who didn't want to take out Saddam) now say that the election was successful in Iraq and hailed Iraqis' bravery in defying the terrorists. More news reports states:
