Hello student,

There are many things which influence, or affect, our clothing style. We

wear different clothes for different kind of weather. We change our

clothing depending on where we are; at work, at home, at school, and so

on. We choose clothes that are acceptable for our sex, our age, our social

class, or our religion. In some cultures, for instance, it might not be

acceptable for older people to wear shorts or for women to show their

hair. There are also customs about wearing traditional clothing. In some

culture people wear traditional clothing every day. In other it is only worn

for weddings, holiday celebrations, and other special occasions.

Are there any types of clothing that are not acceptable to wear in certain

situations in your culture?
